And this here is exactly why you'll continue to be treated like trash, sir.

Claiming that people using their collective labor to enhance your leverage for negotiating with a company is somehow a "greedy, power grab" is insanity.

Is capitalism not one big, greedy power grab? Of course it is. By definition, capitalism is exactly that. Those with capital use YOUR labor. You do not receive anywhere near what value your labor brings to the capitalist. They literally steal the value of your labor and that's how it works.

When you place yourself into a position of insignificance (i.e. refusal to collectively bargain), then you are removing the one piece of leverage you DO have, which means you will forever be at the mercy of the capitalist, and for no other reason than they have the money and you don't.

Until you reconcile the fact that you are insignificant by yourself and you need to have many others acting together to make change, you'll be part of the problem and the reason people continue to be exploited in this country.
