It wasn't a "whataboutism" at all. Women scream and break things too, but that doesn't mean that women are doing it to scare the man or stop him from doing something.

It's a valid point to make using your own logic.

If you really believed what you wrote, then you would need to apply that standard to women as well because they also scream and break things, but I think most of us will agree that they aren't doing it to 'scare' someone. Sometimes people just get really mad and lash out at something that is not the person standing across from them.
