So, let me get this straight -- they didn't invest a dime in stocks, but draw not one, but two pensions.

So, the stock market....

Pensions are all but dead and gone at this point, but I digress.

Then, we have "hey, work your butt off, be home maybe 50% of the time, leave your house at 5am and don't come home until it's dark (which is ~9pm at some parts of the year), and keep doing that until you're 70."

Then we have "Get an illegal, off-the-books job as a bookie's assistant, and stash that cash!"

Then, "Don't get into debt....oh, and don't really buy anything either."

So, work multiple jobs all day every day, spend little time with your family, don't buy things, don't get loans (except for the house, of course), get two pensions (but, ya' know, that isn't paying them much (eye roll), and do all of this until you're 70 so you can get full benefits of Social Security.

Well heck, now we all know the secrets of success. No life, no family, no debt, two pensions, illegal jobs while evading taxes, and SS.

Lemme get right on that!
