Sorry, but blaming men for the actions of women (primping and preening) is fairly absurd.

Are you telling me that you choose not to make yourself look presentable to the world but that you "have" to because of some patriarch that can control and manipulate you?

And, if you DO choose to make yourself "look good," does it not also make YOU feel good?

And if it does make you feel good, are you suggesting that this is merely a byproduct of male dominance over you?

I'm really struggling to wrap my brain around your logic, and forgive me if my questions seem disingenuous or aggressive, but they are sincere questions because I'm struggling to see the connection with a female primping and preening and some perceived male dominance over you specifically.

Like, who is dominating and having hard power over you that men do not also have to contend with?

"The laws are written by men!" -- well, they're now written by women also and men also have to abide by those same laws that you do.

"My boss is a guy" -- and that boss is the boss of other men too, which they too have to obey. Same would be true for you if your boss was female and your male colleagues would have to abide by their boss's rules/demands.

"Women as a gender cannot oppress men as a gender in a patriarchy" -- no?

So, the fact that only men are drafted into the military -- is that an oppression of women?

The fact that men kill themselves at far higher rates that women -- is that oppressing you? None of those men killed themselves because of women?

That men are expected to put themselves in front of you and harm themselves to save you and your children -- this is oppressive to you?

Can you please explain to me how you specifically are oppressed?
