Two things:

1) BTC is not accepted everywhere yet, so it stands to reason fewer people will hold most of BTC at this point.

2) The US dollar, as an example, is relatively valueless and only holds perceived value based on debt.

Yet the wealthiest 10% in the US own 70 percent of all wealth. Three people own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the country.

Just to give you some perspective on your statement.
