Lol. Really? That's the argument you're going to make here?

It's funny, though, because that's Medium's paywall anyway, not his.

If you have a problem with a company that provides a service profiting from said service, then take it up with Medium - don't take it out on the writer.

Furthermore, you completely failed to comprehend the message, which suggests you didn't actually read the article he wrote.

Lastly, your example of "[a]lmost 30% of all economy activity [sic] in the US is direct government spending" is misleading because most of the money spent by the US government goes to corporations and private contractors, not directly as payments to people or to state governments for payment directly for people.

So, basically, your statement that our economy isn't capitalism is false because that's EXACTLY what it is.

We have socialistic aspects to capitalism in the US, but not nearly enough. We can, and should, do both, especially with the technological advances we have that will eventually replace most jobs anyway.

It's better we figure out what to do before the robots take over production than to wait until after.
